My philosophy on Thanksgiving preparations is to go for simple, comforting, and familiar. If you want to get fancy, get out your nicest tableware and table linens, decorate with a festive centerpiece and maybe focus on one new dish. This year, I’m trying out a butternut squash-apple-cranberry stuffing, and if all goes well, I’ll share the recipe here for next year.
